(Courtesy of The Shefa Center) This summer, the Shefa Center is proud to host four professional development workshops designed to empower and equip Jewish educators with the most up-to-date research in the fields of literacy and math. All workshops are led by seasoned educators from The Shefa School.
- Multisensory Math | July 8-10
- PAF Reading Program | July 8-11
- Advanced Decoding Skills: Teaching Multisyllable Words | July 15
- Introducing Long Vowels, Homonyms, and Spelling Rules | July 17
All workshops will conveniently take place online. Group rate subsidies are now available to maximize access for schools that are looking to send three or more teachers. Don’t delay; space is limited.

PAF Ongoing Support: The Shefa Center is also delighted to announce opportunities for ongoing PAF support in the ‘24-’25 school year. After completing the four-day PAF Reading Program Workshop, your school may benefit from help implementing PAF or additional support with your current program. This additional professional development can be tailored to your school’s and/or teachers’ needs and may include topics such as support with assessment, student groupings, pacing of instruction or individual teacher coaching.
