(Shefa sports) Thursday, March 7 marked a great day for the Shefa history books! The Shefa Sharks boys basketball team won their first championship final against the Greene Hill School (the score was 19-9). This has been quite the journey for the Shefa Sharks, who were only established two years ago and lost in the playoffs last year. However, this year, they went undefeated, ultimately winning the championship! In the words of Coach Duane Castleberry, “This season has been a testament to our hard work, dedication and teamwork. We’ve overcome challenges, celebrated victories and grown both individually and as a team.
