On Special Visitors Day, The Shefa School welcomed grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and other important adults in their child’s life to get a taste of The Shefa School. This event was geared towards adult family members and friends other than parents and marked a very special day in the Shefa calendar for students, families and staff/faculty alike! The program included an introduction to the kind of learners Shefa serves, how Shefa approaches the education of its students and what makes the Shefa community such a special place. Visitors then had the opportunity to join the students in an activity or presentation in their classrooms and participate in Shefa’s oneg Shabbat celebration.
