Rabbi Ben Tzion Shafier, founder and director of The Shmuz, is expanding his reach by launching a new Shmuz website this week.
Originally designed for the post-yeshivah working guy, The Shmuz now influences thousands of Jewish people around the world through Rabbi Shafier’s online videos, articles and live webinars. The new site will allow visitors to download free classes, access various seminars, keep up to date with live events and pose questions to Rabbi Shafier through a new “Question and Answer” forum.
As well as contributing regularly to Matzav, The Jewish Press and Hamodia, The Shmuz currently has more than 13,000 email subscribers and a large following on Social Media. The new site is set to build on this following by providing all of Rabbi Shafier’s Torah content in one easily accessible place.
“The new Shmuz site will be a key resource for anyone seeking practical advice from a Torah perspective,” said Rabbi Shafier. “Following the success of our recent fundraiser, I am extremely grateful to Hashem for allowing us to provide the community with a beautiful, easy-to-use site that will give their neshamos a kick-start.”
The new website can be found at www.theshmuz.com, where viewers are able to download a free copy of Rabbi Shafier’s book “Two Minutes to Bitachon” to celebrate the launch.
