The Thurnauer School of Music will present a violin master class featuring violinist Grigory Kalinovsky, professor of Violin at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in Bloomington. The master class will be held on Sunday, February 23, from 2-5:30 p.m. in the Eric Brown Theater of the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades, 411 East Clinton Avenue, Tenafly. Attendance for the class is open to the public with free admission.

“We are excited to welcome Grigory back to Thurnauer, and to learn from him,” said Thurnauer’s founding director, Dorothy Kaplan Roffman. “Master classes give students and audience members a valuable opportunity to gain insight into musical works and the artistic process through a public coaching in an intimate setting.”
