Tiferet of Teaneck included hands-on chesed as part of their preparations for Pesach. At the Corner Market food pantry, a project of JFS of Northern NJ, Tiferet Students cleaned, covered and stocked shelves with Kosher for Passover food to be given to families in need before the holiday. The students also had a chance to speak with Stacey Frenkel, the volunteer coordinator, about what the pantry does and how it helps local families, giving them a better understanding of this wonderful organization and the power of community engagement.
