Residents of Bright Side Manor, a local assisted living facility, were treated to a multi-cultural dance performance by the students of Tiferet of Teaneck. Tiferet students study different countries and cultures in their Passports Around the World geography class created and taught by Dalia Shulman, mother of a Tiferet student. To conclude the year, the girls performed traditional dances representing Aboriginal Australia, Ecuador and Uganda. The performance ended with a selection of songs played on the harp by Leah Miller. It was a wonderful experience for both the students and residents alike! Tiferet of Teaneck is a multi-age pod school program for girls run under the direction of Morah Tzipi Altmann.
