Tiferet of Teaneck took a trip to the Sealife Aquarium at American Dream Mall to learn about marine life. After learning about the amazing qualities of rock pool creatures from a Sealife educator, the students had a chance to reach in and touch sea stars, anemones and more rock at the aquarium’s interactive touch tank.

The students took a stroll through the underwater tunnel where they experienced panoramic views of thousands of tropical fish, sharks and sting rays. At the Urban Jungle Oasis, Tiferet students discovered some of the rain forest’s most fascinating and terrifying creatures, including the Red Bellied Piranha. They also had a chance to disco-dance with some florescent moon jellyfish. The trip inspired the young learners to learn about the amazing world around them.
