Never Visited Gun For Hire’s 6-Star Gun Range Before? Here’s What You Can Expect
If you’re planning your first visit to Gun For Hire, America’s Gun Range, here are some quick tips and what to expect.
Arrival and Check-In:
Upon arriving at Gun For Hire, you’ll notice that the facility has a professional and welcoming atmosphere. Start by heading to the main entrance, where you’ll be greeted by our friendly Concierge. For first-time visitors, there is a quick one-time waiver you will need to fill out. Eight years old and up can shoot. Each person 18+ will need to bring a valid government photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport. After the waiver is complete, you will proceed to Retail where our 6-Star Staff is ready and excited to help you choose the best firearms to rent. Gun For Hire has over 400 firearms to choose from.
Safety Briefing:
Inside the range, you and your friends will be given a safety briefing with the firearms you have chosen to rent. You will all learn essential firearm safety and range rules first. Your professional instructor will then guide you on stance, loading your firearm, aiming and getting your first bullseye. After about 15 minutes we guarantee you will feel very confident and excited as you hit the target. Our 5,000-plus 5-star reviews are a testament of our amazing incomparable staff.
Facilities and Amenities:
The range is designed for comfort and convenience. You’ll find well-maintained restrooms, large viewing windows to see inside the ranges, well-lit ports and the Gun For Hire Gun Store stocked with a variety of firearms, shooting gear and accessories. If you need to take a break or grab some refreshments, stop by our snack area, which is always equipped to accommodate your needs.
Gun For Hire Pro Tips:
When pulling up to the range you will notice we have ample parking in the front and back of the building with an accessibility ramp in the front. We are open every day of the year with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
We are open to the public, only 15 miles from NYC! Those 8 years old and up can shoot, no special permits required. We have everything you and your family need to have a blast! We are walk-in only with no reservations or appointments necessary.
Please keep in mind that if you do not have a firearm and are planning on renting firearms, you must come to Gun For Hire with an additional person as we can not rent to solo shooters.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement. Closed-toe shoes are a must.
