Tisha B’Av Webcast at Keter Torah
The annual live YUTorah Tisha B’Av webcast on Sunday, July 26th, at Keter Torah. Shacharis will begin at 8:30, and at 9:15, Rabbi Dr. Jacob J. Schacter, University Professor of Jewish History and Jewish Thought at Yeshiva University, will deliver a shiur titled “The Significance of Tisha B’Av in 2015: Seeking Meaning in Tragedy.” It will be followed by an 11 a.m. recital of kinot and discussion. Congregation Bnai Yeshurun Tisha B’Av Youth Program
Congregation Bnai Yeshurun’s youth department presents a Tisha B’Av program for rising kindergarten children through 4th graders. The program will take place on Sunday July 26th, from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m., in the Bnai Yeshurun classrooms and social hall.
The program is open to Bnai Yeshurun members only, at $15 a child. There are limited spots available. The program will include arts and crafts, a magician and games and snacks. The Magic Show will begin at 4 p.m.; siblings of registered children are welcome to attend the magic show free of charge along with a supervising adult. Polish Jewry Documentary Showing at Keter Torah
On Tisha B’Av, at 6:00 p.m., Keter Torah will present an exclusive showing of “Once Upon a Family- The Saga of Polish Jewry,” a riveting documentary produced by Project Witness. Keter Torah Tisha B’Av Youth Camp
On Sunday July 26th, Tisha B’av Day, from 9:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., for children entering nursery to 5th grade, Keter Torah will be hosting a youth camp. The children will partake in various structured activities including arts and crafts, games, learning and more. Lunch and snacks will be included. Tisha B’Av Afternoon Video Program at Rinat Yisrael
Congregation Rinat Yisrael’s Adult Education Program presents a Tisha B’Av afternoon video program on July 26, 2015, at 2:45 pm in the Rinat Social Hall. From 2:45 to 3:45 pm, the film, “The Jewish – Roman War, 66-70 CE,” will be shown, a BBC presentation dramatizing the monumental struggle between the Roman legions and the Jews, a realistic and very well presented film. From 3:45 to 4:45 pm, the film, “Shanghai Miracle,” produced by Torah Umesorah’s Zechor Yemos Olam Project, will be shown, detailing how hundreds of Yeshiva students escaped the Hitlerian onslaught in Shanghai, China and went on to help rebuild Torah across the globe. From 4:45 to 5:30, the film, “Rebuilding from the Ashes,” will be shown, a YU/OU video featuring Rabbi Dr. Jacob J. Shachter and Rabbi Shalom Rosner.

Tisha B’Av Program for Boys 8th Grade and Above at Beth Abraham
There will be a special Tisha B’Av program at Congregation Beth Abraham for boys going into eighth grade and above. Davening on Tisha B’Av morning will start at 9 am in the social hall, followed by selected kinos with introductions by Rav Tanchum Cohen, Rabbi Josh Kahn, Rabbi Aryeh Stechler and Rabbi Eli Cohn.
