Kosher Travelers, the world’s premier kosher travel company, has created a fascinating travel experience to the UAE. Launching Chanukah week, December 14-21, Kosher Travelers has planned a trip to remember for couples and families to the newest venue available to the kosher traveler. The historic Abraham Accords, newly implemented by Israel and the UAE, have opened an entirely new and exotic part of the world to the tourism industry. Keeping to its tradition of five-star travel and touring, David Walles and Ari Bick of Kosher Travelers are excited to offer this premier tour to the kosher traveler in time for Chanukah 2020.
The trip will include tours to three of the seven Arab Emirates, Dubai, Ras al-Khaimah and Sharja. Sights will include architectural world wonders including the tallest building in the world, exotic palaces, picturesque oases, glorious beaches including an entire pearl diving community; outdoor souks, markets that feature wares from around the world; and magnificent flower gardens. Activities for the whole family will include the Atlantis Aquaventure Water Park, IMG World, Motiongate, Bollywood and more.
Hotel accommodations will be provided at the five-star Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor Hotel located on the scenic waterfront. You will be treated throughout your stay to the highest standards of OU-Mehadrin supervised kosher gourmet meals with a local Kosherati twist of taste. Shabbat will be an interactive festive experience and participants will engage with the local Dubai community led by the charismatic UAE chief rabbi, Dr. Elie Abadie. Shiurim exploring the Torah of the sages who lived in the Arabian Gulf will be offered.
More than a holiday vacation, this trip of a lifetime is effectively a “mission” during which you will meet and get to know and understand the UAE community. To facilitate your understanding of the history, culture and politics of the region, Walles and Bick have invited noted scholar David M. Weinberg of the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security to accompany the tour. Participants who are interested in delving into the defense, diplomatic and economic issues that drew the UAE into the Abraham Accords will have ample opportunity to hear from Weinberg during daily touring and evening dinners.
Most importantly, in this COVID-19 climate, Walles and Bick have taken enormous measures to ensure the health and safety of their travelers. Full-sized, modern tour buses will host only up to 20 passengers. The shul and dining room will adhere to social distancing. “We have extensively reviewed all the scenarios of the trip and are confident that we are adhering to all of the official safety measures for the health and enjoyment of our guests.”
Looking beyond Chanukah, there are more tours planned. Join Kosher Travelers in the UAE during Yeshiva Week, January 21-28; February 8-15; or March 8-15. For those looking for the Pesach experience of a lifetime, Kosher Travelers will be hosting an incredible 10-day Pesach in Dubai’s No. 1 resort hotel, the Atlantis Palm, from March 26 through April 5.
The cost of the Chanukah tour is $2750 per adult, not including airfare. Rates for children are lower.
