The Touro College Graduate School of Technology (GST) sponsored a one-day Mobile App Design Institute that offered participants an overview of the app-development process. Andrew Deck, a professor of web and multimedia design, worked with the participants to help them conceptualize potential mobile apps before providing them with step-by-step instructions to produce their own prototypes. Each year GST hosts several other workshops for the general public, including a bi-annual gaming institute to help teachers develop desktop, mobile, and online games to be incorporated into their curriculums.
