Train With FDU’s Basketball Coach This Summer

The Fairleigh Dickinson men’s basketball team had the biggest upset in NCAA history with the defeat by  #16 FDU  #1 Purdue. The head assistant coach of the outstanding team is the new head coad at FDU, Coach Jack Castelberry. All the skills and techniques that the FDU men’s team used will be taught at his Burgundy & Blue Basketball Camp. Members of his coaching staff and players will be joining him at the impressive Rothman Athletic Center at the FDU Metro Campus in Teaneck/Hackensack.

The camp will be held from Monday July 31-Friday August 4, for rising second through eighth graders. This is perfect for those who only go to camp for one month and need something exciting for the remainder of the summer. The camp will also offer kosher lunch and snacks will be available to the campers as well. Players of all skill levels will be welcomed and receive individual attention so that each athlete will be able to improve. The camp will meet from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m., except on the last day when it will meet until 12 noon. Awards and prizes will be given out at the end of camp as well as T-shits and many other swag.

The cost is a reasonable $350 and students of local yeshivot and Jewish day schools such as ASHAR, BPY, He’Atid, Moriah, Noam, RYNJ, SAR, SSBC, Yavneh, YBH, etc. will receive a 10% discount (code: “yeshiva” on application). In addition, when you wear your camp shirt, you will be able to go to all future FDU men’s basketball Division 1 games at a discount.

This is a great opportunity to prepare for your fall basketball tryout and to just have fun.
