Union County Holocaust Survivors Enjoy JFSCNJ Café Europa

(Courtesy of JFSCNJ) A group of Holocaust survivors, their caregivers and JFSCNJ volunteers and staff enjoyed the first program for 2024 – lunch and entertainment in the Mitzi & Warren Eisenberg Multi-Purpose Center at the JFSCNJ Halpern Building in Elizabeth, on Thursday, January 4.

This program featured the phenomenal musical entertainment of Flip P.

Many thanks to Nathan Budashewitz, (JFS Social Worker) Greg Yucht (JFS Russian Speaking Social Worker) Debbie Rosenwein (JFS Director of Holocaust Services) Volunteer Janet Jacobs, and Renee Unterman (JFS Nurse) for all of their help with running the program so smoothly.

Many thanks to generous grant funders, the Wilf Family Foundations and the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Funds from the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest allow the technology to be used to provide a Hybrid Café Europa program to all of the survivors in the community.
