The YM-YWHA of Union County, located at 501 Green Lane in Union, is pleased to announce select openings for Fall 2017 in their licensed premiere day care center. Nurturing infants, children, families and community for over 35 years, the Y boasts six specific rooms and programs geared for all levels of childcare. Beginning at six weeks, up through preschool, there is a state-approved curriculum, led by certified teachers and caregivers. The Y is one of the few centers that provide breakfast, lunch and snacks (kosher), boasts swimming lessons in the indoor heated pool, gym time, art, music and even cooking. A special gan is available for those who want to incorporate both Judaic and secular studies for ages 2 ½ to 3 ½. Toilet training is an integral part of the program. Early drop-off and late pick-up options are available and the Y is conveniently located down the street from the Union Train Station. Y membership is required of all early childhood families, and the Y is pleased to be an approved childcare site for D.Y.F.S. and 4 C’s. There is also a feeder “afterschool program” and vacation days for children in grades K-6.
