On Sunday, June 12 at 8 p.m. the Union Y will be hosting renowned magician, mind reader and mentalist David Lawrence at an elegant cocktail party at the Y’s campus at 501 Green Lane in Union. Attendees will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while listening to light background music from pianist Jim Keefe.

After Lawrence’s 45-minute magic show, the three winners of the Y’s annual raffle will be drawn, with first prize winning a $2,000 American Express travel voucher good for flights, hotels and other travel expenses worldwide; second prize winning a $1,000 Short Hills Mall shopping spree with $200 gift cards to Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and the Apple Store; and third prize winning a Broadway “night on the town” with a $250 Ticketmaster gift card, $200 gift certificate to Le Marais, and $50 towards parking. The raffle drawing will be followed by the presentation of a parting gift to departing Y President Robbie Heizler.

Each purchase of a $100 raffle ticket entitles the purchaser to admission to the cocktail party or, if you’re not feeling lucky, you can pay for admission only for $50. Tickets and admission can be purchased at uniony.org/raffle. Don’t miss this magical evening!
