“Playing the wine-tasting game at a socially distanced event is so much fun, and bringing people together to help such an amazing cause during these difficult times made it all worth it,” said Alter.

Gavy Friedson, the global ambassador for United Hatzalah Israel, shared with the group that although many companies need to close and take a break now, United Hatzalah needs to continue to help save lives 24/7. He even brought an ambucycle to the event to explain the life-saving techniques that are used on a daily basis on the streets of Israel.

Miriam Tennenbaum, the New Jersey regional director for United Hatzalah saw the ad for WineDown on the pages of The Jewish Link and thought it would be a great event to help fundraise and create awareness for United Hatzalah during this pandemic, when it is difficult to host large events.
