Cong. Beth Aaron will be hosting several guest speakers in the coming weeks.
On Shabbat, March 17-18, Rabbi Elazar Muskin, senior rabbi of Young Israel of Century City in Los Angeles, will be the scholar-in-residence. On Shabbat morning, Rabbi Muskin will deliver the drasha at the conclusion of davening in the main minyan. He will speak again at 5:40 p.m. on “When Unity Reigned: Yom Ha’atzmaut 1954,” and again following the 6:40 p.m. mincha, when his topic will be “Strictly Confidential? History vs. Halacha.”
On Wednesday, March 22, at 8:30 p.m., the shul’s sisterhood will offer a shiur for women. Rebbetzin Chana Reichman of the East Hill Synagogue will speak on “The Power of Chesed: Small Acts/Great Impacts.” This shiur is sponsored by Deena & David Fisher, on the occasion of the first yahrtzeit of Deena’s mother, Bernice Garfinkel.
On Shabbat, March 25, at 3:30 p.m., Zalman Suldan will discuss “Seder Surprises,” offering creative, hands-on ways to make seders engaging, exciting and kid friendly.
Finally, Rabbi Baruch Simon, rosh yeshiva at RIETS, will deliver a pre-Pesach shiur, “Chodesh Nissan: The Month of Redemption,” on Tuesday, March 28, at 8:15 p.m.
