As we approach the holiday season, we find ourselves in a time of unique challenges and stressful circumstances. However, it is during these times that the spirit of togetherness and gratitude becomes even more essential. Please join your fellow neighbors and friends for this special community ‘unity” event to benefit the Teaneck Helping Hands Food Pantry for Thanksgiving that aims to bring us closer and uplift our spirit. Let’s come together as a community to celebrate and support one another.
Please join Dean Kazinci, Jaclyn Hashmat, Karen McEvoy, Rosiland McLean, Avi Berliner, Johanna Keyser and myself to provide a holiday meal for seniors, veterans, emergency service workers and families that need a warm meal.
The free Thanksgiving lunch will be served at Rain, 399 Water Street, Teaneck, on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, 2024, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., in memory of Janice Preschel.
Renowned chef Mike Hennig will be in the kitchen, with Thanksgiving food donated by Dougies, Chopstix and Butterflake.
Invite a senior along; Rides are available. Shampoo and body wash will be collected for the food pantry and people in need.
