Volunteering in Israel Without the Cost

Since October 2023, people from diverse backgrounds—Americans, Europeans, Jews and non-Jews alike—have traveled to Israel to lend a helping hand during challenging times. Initially, many arrived without a concrete plan, seeking ways to assist on the ground. Over time, online platforms and WhatsApp groups emerged to streamline volunteer efforts, while larger organizations began organizing structured missions.

However, many of these organized missions come with high costs, making them inaccessible to some who wish to contribute. Fortunately, there are affordable and even free volunteer opportunities available for those eager to make an impact. It’s important to note that if you want a hotel stay this is not for you. However, if you want to be an Israeli for a few days and live as they do on a farm or a kibbutz this might be for you. Below are some highlighted programs.
