This year’s Republican primary for governor has a number of good candidates, but I strongly encourage readers to vote for Jack Ciattarelli.
Four years ago, I voted for Jack. If just 42,250 people who voted for Gov. Murphy had voted for Jack instead, we’d be having a very different conversation right now — especially when it comes to the safety of the Jewish community in New Jersey.
Jack has been a true friend to our community. When he supports us, it’s genuine — it’s not wrapped in qualifiers or followed by “I support everyone.” That kind of clarity and commitment matters, and we need more leaders like that.
He’s not just the most electable Republican in the race — he’s someone who really understands and cares about the issues that affect us. He’s spoken out against antisemitism, stood up for public safety, supported anti-crime efforts, and backed our yeshivas and day schools. He always has, and I believe he always will.
I’m confident that if Jack is elected, he’ll make sure the Attorney General’s Office and county prosecutors enforce the law, keeping our neighborhoods safe so we can live without fear — from agitators or anyone else who targets us. And unlike others, he won’t hide behind excuses or twist the Constitution to avoid doing what’s right.
We need leadership that’s strong, principled and consistent. That’s why I’m voting for Jack Ciattarelli.
