My wife and I returned from Florida in early June. We both received Official Sample Ballots for the upcoming New Jersey primary. Since we never received the actual mail-in ballots, I called and was told that the ballots would be mailed to us. My wife and I are registered Republicans. We received the mail-in ballots on July 2. We opened our individual envelopes. Mine contained a return envelope with “Republican” on the ID label on its reverse side and a blank Republican primary ballot. My wife’s envelope contained a return envelope with “Republican” on the ID label on its reverse side and a blank Democratic primary ballot.

If this is a harbinger of what we can expect in our upcoming Presidential election, woe unto us.
