More than 2,000 people are expected in Livingston on Sunday, Nov. 3, for the annual FCwalk and family fun fair to show their support for individuals with special needs. The annual fundraising event for Friendship Circle will be held at its home in LifeTown on Miracle Way in Livingston.
“Each and every year our community steps up to show its support for people with special needs and their families, and we know this year will be no different,” said FC and LifeTown CEO Rabbi Zalman Grossbaum. “With LifeTown now open we are able to provide more programming and respite hours, and funds raised at the walk allow us to keep programming costs down. People will be able to experience LifeTown for themselves after the walk when they can step inside and see what the buzz is all about.”
Among the post-walk activities will be the chance to explore the LifeTown Shoppes, play in LifeTown’s indoor playground, try VR games, enjoy food options, and take part in a basketball trampoline show in the gym. There will also be a petting zoo set up outside that will be open before and after the one-mile FCwalk.
The FCwalk fun begins with registration and T-shirt pickup begin at noon, and the walk will follow at 1 p.m. LifeTown is located at 10 Microlab Road in Livingston. For more information and to register, visit FCwalk.com or call 973-251-0200.
