The WDS kindergarten and first grade students celebrated 100 days of school! Students in kindergarten put their math skills to the test as they worked through the different centers in the classroom, and played games in PE that had them count to 100. Students decorated their T-shirts to demonstrate their understanding of the number 100. To end the day, students decorated cupcakes to celebrate!
In first grade, students practiced writing 100 in Hebrew and participated in various STEM activities such as building cup towers with 100 cups and writing equations that would equal 100. Students spent the day wearing glasses that said 100 on them!
The day was filled with laughter, smiles and math and students had a great time celebrating 100 days.
