Westchester Day School third grade students dove into learning about habitats and ecosystems with Mr. Merel this week in science. Along the way, they explored the world of 3D printing, designing creatures and objects to add to their very own terrariums. For water, they used slime—discovering it’s a non-Newtonian substance (not a solid, liquid, or gas)! Science and creativity combined for an unforgettable learning experience.
