Singing their hearts out on the way to their new siddurim, the first graders at Westchester Day School stood on stage to demonstrate their love of Jewish prayer. Led by Morah Sabrina Gaffney, instructor of first grade Judaic studies, and Sandy Shmuely, the spirited music teacher at Westchester Day School, generations of family members came to watch the children perform at the annual Chag HaSiddur assembly. In attendance were grandparents, parents and siblings, who all shared in the immense pride and excitement of receiving a first siddur.
