The WDS fourth grade flea market is officially open! Class 4H hosted the first of their two flea markets. The activity is meant to bring real world application to the experience of class money. Willing students brought in gently used and parent-approved items such as books, stuffed animals or knick-knacks to be sold in class. Students engage in pricing items, negotiating purchases and calculating what they can afford. Afterward, they shared their experiences with their peers in a group discussion. A good time was had by all!
