Earlier this week, fifth through eighth grade students filled WDS with the color pink, coming together to raise awareness and show support for those affected by breast and ovarian cancer. Through the middle school programming and in partnership with Sharsheret, students braided pink challah and decorated heartfelt cards and letters for care packages, which will be hand-delivered to White Plains Hospital as a token of strength and encouragement. With each pink ribbon worn and every act of kindness, the students reflected the importance of chesed—bringing light and support to those who need it most.
