Last week, Westchester Day School had the privilege of hosting four families from Kibbutz Alumim, creating a heartfelt moment of connection and solidarity. The day began with a warm welcome featuring music, Israeli flags and an outpouring of support, as the WDS community came together to stand with our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisrael, who remain ever close to our hearts.

A highlight of the visit was a meaningful discussion in the shul, where grades six and seven joined the fathers of the families to hear their stories and learn how they are managing during these challenging times.

The visit was a beautiful reflection of the strength, unity and compassion of the WDS family.
