Westchester Day School was proud to welcome Magen David Adom paramedic Aryeh Myers as part of our middle school speaker series. With over 20 years of frontline EMS experience, Aryeh shared compelling insights into his work as a paramedic and the lifesaving role of MDA in Israel. Through engaging stories and firsthand accounts, he brought to life the critical importance of emergency medical services and how MDA saves lives every day under extraordinary circumstances.
Adding to the excitement of the evening, students had the unique opportunity to tour a brand-new ambulance before it embarks on its journey to Israel to serve communities in need. This hands-on experience offered a tangible connection to the lifesaving mission of Magen David Adom, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
It was an inspiring evening that highlighted the values of compassion, dedication and service to others—core principles WDS strives to instill in their students. WDS is grateful to Aryeh Myers for sharing his time and experiences with the community and for providing such a meaningful glimpse into the world of emergency medical response.
