October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Mrs. Goldstein, the incredible art teacher here at Westchester Day School and dedicated advocate, spoke to WDS grade seven students and Westchester Hebrew High School about her personal journey and the meaning of courage.
Mrs. Goldstein shared resources for families affected by breast and ovarian cancer, reminding us of the importance of standing together in support. Her words echoed Abraham’s “Hineni, here I am,” a call to step up when needed most, just as God asked him to.
She also revealed a special artwork where every Westchester Day School child drew a heart—a beautiful symbol of community support and love. Thank you, Mrs. Goldstein, for inspiring everyone to be “here” for one another.
