WDS students in grades one through five were joined by a representative from Keren Kayemet L’Yisrael, Ilan Frydman. Using a parachute, students explored the map of Israel. Then they had the opportunity to “declare” independence as if they were David Ben Gurion themselves. This was a culmination of their yearly study of Israel.
