Rabbi Daniel Fridman of The Jewish Center of Teaneck announced the beginning of a weekly Moroccan Minyan at The Jewish Center of Teaneck, which will meet for all Shabbat and Yom Tov Tefillot. It will continue to be one united Jewish Center of Teaneck, and everyone will meet for kiddush at the conclusion of both Tefillot.
This will enable not only Moroccan families in the neighborhood but Sephardic families, more generally, to daven according to their beautiful minhagim, and enhance the shul’s status as an inclusive center for all in the neighborhood. The minyan will meet for Shabbat and Yom Tov in the Weiss auditorium. All are welcome.
The Jewish Center of Teaneck wants to give a special thanks to just some of the many people who have worked so hard to make this a reality: Ruth Ezrapour, Jacob BenHarush, Amir Cohen, Shmuel Elhadad and Asher Toporovsky, as well as past presidents Isaac Student and Sandy Hausler, current President Abbe Rosner and Treasurer Allen Ezrapour.
The Jewish Center of Teaneck is located at 70 Sterling Place. For more information and to receive the weekly email blast call the JCOT office at 201-833-0515 or email [email protected].
