In a vibrant celebration of the story of Noah’s ark, Westchester Day School kindergarten students brought a burst of color and creativity to their learning. Throughout the week, young learners crafted their very own stuffed animals, each one unique and filled with character, to populate a handmade Noah’s ark designed from scratch. The children explored the animals’ different colors, shapes and textures, transforming the classic story into an imaginative hands-on project.
Adding even more flair, the kindergarten class baked colorful challah and cupcakes, a delicious treat that highlighted the joyful spirit they bring to their studies. This engaging experience allowed students to connect with the parsha in a way that was as meaningful as it was fun (and yum!). Kol hakavod to the kindergarteners for bringing such creative energy to this week’s learning!
