Westchester Day School held its annual book fair from December 5-8, leaving students overjoyed with new books and even some small toys. The book fair, which was organized by the WDS PTA, kicked off with guest speaker Yaron Weitzman, a Shabbat-observant sportswriter and author of “Tanking to the Top,” who taught students about the process of writing a book and what it is like to be a reporter. He was one of several guest authors who visited during the week. “It was really special to have authors come in and meet all the students. They got to ask them about the writing process, and it gives them a different perspective,” said one PTA member. Selling many books through the week, the PTA also raised some money that will go towards the chinuch of WDS students.
