The UJA-Federation of New York has partnered with Supplies for Success to ensure every student has what they need to reach their potential in the classroom. In order to do so, volunteers of all ages are needed to help pack these new backpacks full of school supplies for children from struggling communities. Packing events will take place on Sunday, July 31, from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Bet Torah in Mount Kisco, Congregation Emanu-El of Westchester in Rye, Westchester Reform Temple in Scarsdale, and Young Israel of Scarsdale.

Those who would like to help, but are unable to volunteer at a packing event, can donate $27, the price of one supplies-filled backpack. For more information about volunteering and donations, visit: www.ujafedny.org/event/view/give-back-with-a-backpack.
