Residents at the Jewish Home Assisted Living in River Vale and Jewish Home at Rockleigh have erected models of Jerusalem’s Western (or Wailing) Wall ahead of the Jewish Home Family’s Mission to Israel.

Community members and day schools are invited to visit and tuck their notes and prayers between the cracks of our replicas, which will then be taken by our residents to Israel and placed in between the ancient stones in the Jerusalem holy site.

The 10-day Israel journey will begin October 18, with residents and staff members visiting Jerusalem, the Judean Desert, Tel Aviv, the Galilee, Golan Heights and other sites—including an optional visit to Palestinian-controlled Bethlehem to allow the mission’s Christian participants to engage the rich Christian history in the Holy Land as well.
