What is the love affair that Jews have with Congressman Josh Gottheimer? Is it because he has brought federal funds for security to synagogues and Jewish organizations, assists Israel and speaks at antisemitism conferences? Is that our only concern as American Jews? Is Gottheimer so invaluable, our only savior?

In the Purim Megillah, Mordechai tells Esther, “…if you keep silent, relief and deliverance will come to the Jews from some other place.”

The RADAK writes: “Salvation is solely in the hands of Hashem, and he brings it through whomever He chooses, as he did with the gentile King Cyrus, during the Babylonian exile.”

Actually, Republican candidate Frank Pallotta is better than Gottheimer for Israel. Gottheimer supports the Biden administration, which is about to make the worst deal on Iran.

The congressman voted against giving security protection to Supreme Court justices and their families. He voted to make Washington, D.C. a state, obviously to increase the number of Democrats. He voted twice to impeach President Trump, once for the nonsense Russian collusion accusations and a second time because Trump phoned the president of Ukraine regarding Hunter Biden. Gottheimer voted against Trump’s border wall, which prevents illegal aliens, criminals, drug dealers and their ilk from entering the country.

It’s time to say goodbye to Josh Gottheimer.
