Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

Why I Am Voting for Yitz Stern and Rosemary Hernandez Carroll in District 37

For over a decade, I’ve worked closely with political leaders across the state of New Jersey, and for the past five years, I’ve been proud to serve as both an advocate and a bridge for the Jewish community in Teaneck and throughout Bergen County. I’ve stood at the intersection of civic engagement and community need — whether through my role on the board of the New Jersey Jewish Business Alliance, on the board of Bergen County Shomrim. And I’ve never seen a moment quite like this one.

District 37 is being watched, not just by voters, but by party leadership across New Jersey. There’s a narrative that says our communities, particularly the Jewish and Hispanic communities, don’t turn out. That we don’t vote. That we aren’t tuned in to what’s happening in Trenton. But those of us paying attention know better.

We know that legislation like the IHRA bill matters. We know that policies around safety, education, small business and affordability have a direct impact on our families and our future. And we know that when candidates step up who are serious about serving all of us, we have a responsibility to meet that moment.

That’s why I am supporting Yitz Stern and Rosemary Hernandez Carroll for New Jersey General Assembly in District 37.

Yitz has decades of experience in public service, and he’s been a trusted voice in our community for years. He brings calm, thoughtful leadership and the kind of fiscal discipline that Trenton desperately needs. Rosemary’s story, rooted in hard work, family and the immigrant experience, is deeply inspiring, and her commitment to inclusion is exactly what this district deserves.

Together, they represent something rare in politics today: humility, integrity and the willingness to listen.

This election is about more than party lines. It’s about showing that our communities do care. That we do vote. And that when we show up together, across faiths, languages and lived experiences, we can build a stronger, more united future.

I hope you’ll join me in supporting Stern and Hernandez Carroll on Election Day. Let’s send a message that we’re paying attention and that we expect to be represented with respect.
