Bruriah students, parents, and faculty attended a recent motzei Shabbat WINS program in Passaic at the home of Bruriah chemistry teacher, Selma Eis.

WINS, incepted by Bruriah Navi teacher Amy Tropp several years ago, stands for Women’s Inspiration NightS, and was developed as a positive growth-oriented opportunity for Bruriah students, and women of all ages, during the winter months.

The recent event featured Rabbi Zev Goldberg and his wife, Dr. Michal Goldberg. The Goldbergs did a phenomenal job discussing the benefits of mindfulness from an emotional and religious perspective. They were both charming and delightful. Doria Meiseles, a senior, said “Thank you for giving us something to do on Saturday night.”

Speakers for the program, which runs several times over the course of the season, are drawn from a broad pool of well-known inspirational and dynamic personalities.
