Dear Shayna,
I am bored like crazy. There is nothing to do! Even the library is closed. My parents don’t want to take me anywhere indoors and now it’s freezing and snowy or rainy outside all the time. Please give me some ideas on what to do before I lose my mind!
Signed,
Bella Bananas
Dear Bella Bananas,
It’s really boring now for pretty much everyone in the whole world. Here are some ideas that might help a little at least.
1. Bake frowny face cookies to show how bored you are.
2. See if you can read a book upside down.
3. Take a walk in the rain and make sure to get your feet as muddy as possible.
4. Do your homework…just kidding.
5. Color on anything except for paper; scribbling on the walls are bonus points.
6. Take a warm bubble bath, being sure to overfill the tub.
7. Play board games with pieces from different games. Make sure to mix up all the pieces from all the games; no one will have to know it was you.
8. Try on different family members’ outfits.
9. Shop online and buy your heart out.
10. Look at your siblings’ embarrassing photos.
11. Go for a drive and get lost.
12. Play with your pet, making sure to let him chew on your brother’s favorite jersey.
13. Design your mom’s phone case and see her reaction.
I think these ideas should keep you entertained for a while. Although they may not make your family happy, they will probably keep them busy. Now no one in your family will have to write to me about being bored. Tell them I say you’re welcome!;)
Best of luck,
Shayna B.
