(Courtesy of JFSCNJ) “Hats off” to Courtney Pantirer, who brightened everyone’s day when she arrived at the Jewish Family Service of Central NJ (JFSCNJ) office in Elizabeth to drop off a collection of winter hats that will benefit clients of its food pantry. Many of the hats, which were handmade as well as purchased, were donated through “Mitzvah of the Moment” and various volunteer programs through the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ (JFGMWNJ).
JFS is grateful to Jamie Carus, manager of the Center for Volunteerism at JFGMWNJ, for connecting JFS with so many wonderful federation volunteers who go above and beyond to provide JFS clients with many items they need in addition to food.
For information about volunteering as an individual or group at JFS, contact Danielle McLeer, [email protected] or (908) 352-8375.
