The largest menorah in the world was lit Sunday night at Grand Army Plaza on 59th Street in Manhattan and has been a New York City tradition for nearly 50 years. The annual event is organized by the Lubavitch Youth Organization. The 36-foot, 4,000-pound menorah is the largest in the world. It was lit with the help of Mayor-elect Eric Adams.
