Spending Chol Hamoed Sukkot at WTA was jam packed, filled with fun and meaningful experiences for everyone! Lower school kicked off with the Sukkot Games, where students were split into teams, and played various games like Steal the Etrog, Capture the Lulav, and Simon Says Shake the Lulav. Then during the Epic Sukkot Scavenger Hunt, students went through various challenges, learning about Ushpizin, the way to shake the lulav and etrog, collected schach from the outdoors and put it on their mini Lego sukkahs, and competed various Sukkot puzzles. The students then built a STEM Challenge Sukkot, and ended off the day with a Sukkot Shiriyah where they learned two Sukkot songs. The next day, the students had a Nisuch Hamayim Bucket Brigade, flag decorating for hakafot, a Chag Ha’Asif nature hike, See, Run, Build: Sukkot Edition, and finally, ended the day with the Chagei Tishrei Chidon and hakafot.
