This week, WTA middle schoolers took on an incredible challenge, elevating their creativity and teamwork to new heights during an unforgettable Lila Lavan (All-Nighter) event. Their mission? To transform the entire school into a vibrant, modern-day Shushan in preparation for Purim.
Working together, the students decorated every corner of the school, bringing the spirit of Purim to life. They designed and painted castle-scapes and Aladdin-like characters, turning the building into a festive kingdom of Shushan. The lobby was draped in shimmering gossamer, making the school almost unrecognizable.
With Purim music filling the halls and a pizza party for dinner, the transformation blended hard work with fun. The students worked late into the evening, coordinating their efforts with excitement and energy that only comes from working together toward a common goal. The atmosphere was electric, and their initiative truly shone.
The next morning, when the younger students arrived, they were amazed by the transformation. The school felt like a magical world, and their wide-eyed wonder said it all. The middle schoolers’ hard work created an environment full of anticipation and excitement, setting the stage for the upcoming Purim celebrations.
WTA is incredibly proud of the creativity, initiative and teamwork the middle schoolers displayed during this all-nighter. It’s a perfect example of how the students continually go above and beyond to create something truly special. Everyone is looking forward to seeing how this energy continues to fuel the Purim celebrations and beyond!
