(Courtesy of WTA) On Sunday, May 2, Westchester Torah Academy parents. grandparents and friends gathered outdoors for A Night Under the Stars—celebrating the schools kochavim, stars. The school bestowed its Educational Technology Award upon David Merel, who was honored for generously donating his time and skills and making countless improvements to the school’s technology. Karen Chubak and Aaron Herman received the Volunteer Award for their dedication and efforts towards the school’s capital campaign. Dr. Jennifer Duchon received the Community Health Award for being a guiding light in navigating through the pandemic. The true kochavim were the members of the WTA’s first graduating class! For many, it was the first night out since the start of the pandemic, but what better reason than to celebrate the people who have contributed greatly to the success of the school!
