WTA Drama Chug Wows With Wizard of Oz Performance

WTA’s lower school and middle school students in the drama chug took to the stage just before Pesach for a truly magical performance of The Wizard of Oz at the JCC Mid-Westchester Auditorium. After a year of hard work and collaboration, they delivered an unforgettable show for parents, grandparents, siblings, friends and community members.

The production was a true team effort, with students not only acting but also contributing to the sets, costumes and behind-the-scenes tech work. Their creativity, dedication and teamwork brought the story to life in a vibrant, engaging way that made the whole community proud.

A huge thank you to the amazing director, Kathy, for her vision and guidance throughout the year. Her leadership helped the students grow as performers and collaborators, culminating in this outstanding performance. Thank you to WTA Middle School Dean of Students, Morah Rachel Mendelsohn, for all her support and hard work in making this professional production a reality.

Bravo to all involved—what a wonderful way to celebrate a year of drama, creativity and connection!
