In preparation for Chanukah, WTA middle school students spent time in their Judaic Studies classes learning about the miracle of Chanukah focusing on ideas surrounding oil. The students then learned about the various uses of oil and how oil is made in a press. Afterwards, everyone made olive oil from olives, filtered the oil from the pulp and separated the oil from the water.
