Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

Westchester Torah Academy students were so thrilled to jump right into Rosh Hashanah at the beginning of the school year. Throughout the school, children were learning about the holiday and experiencing it in different ways—each at the level best suited to them. Older students learned in small groups and chavruta, discussing the ins and outs of Rosh Hashanah minhagim and halachot. Younger students also studied the simanim and minhagim of the chag, down to 3- and 4-year-olds—it’s never too early to start! Even the specials joined the fun, with an amazing still-life art class using artfully arranged rimonim and shofarot as the drawing subjects.
