New Jersey Yachad and Ohr HaTorah launched their first joint program in honor of Aderet Twersky’s bat mitzvah. Aderet has been involved with Yachad this past year, volunteering at the New Jersey Yachad Mendel Balk Community Center in Teaneck, and wanted to celebrate her bat mitzvah milestone with Yachad! Aderet was so excited to celebrate together with her friends from Yachad, Ohr Hatorah and her family. With over 30 girls ages 6-16 in attendance, the energy and excitement was high! All the girls enjoyed time together, eating delicious desserts and socializing while making beautiful jewelry creations. All of the jewelry made will be donated to charity in honor of Aderet’s bat mitzvah. The girls who attended built new friendships and had fun expressing their creativity together.
